Energy Pistol
A Pistol is a type of handgun, characterised by a barrel with an integral chamber. The word "pistol" is often used as a generic term to describe any type of handgun, such as revolvers and derringers. The most common type of pistol used in the modern era is the semi-automatic pistol. Older single-shot, lever-action pistols are rare and used primarily for show. Fully-automatic machine pistols are also uncommon.[1]
Energy Pistols shoot blasts of concentrated psionic magical energy, similar to the magical energy employed by psi magic users. An energy cell in the weapon’s magazine triggers a small magical explosion inside the chamber. The magical energy is then focused via an electromagnet and directed out through the barrel. Energy weapons require energy cell in order to function. Most energy weapons required technological aptitude to operate, despite their magical power sources.
