Dragoon
Dragoons are members of an elite martial force which helps keep order and police criminal behaviour. The term originates from the Dragoon Corps on Plumeth, where dragoons are the planet’s first line of defence against crime. However, any peacekeeper with combat and interpersonal skills is considered to be a dragoon. The Dragoon Corps are primarily made up of Terrans, though any member of an alien species allied to the Terran Republic can join.
Dragoons have the necessary combat and interpersonal training to make them effective peacekeepers, while also having a limited amount of authority, depending on whom they interact with.
