The Solace trade cartel, based out of Jupin, uses the constant conflict in the Huk’Va solar system to turn a profit by doing business with both the Coalition of Planets and megor raiding clans, though their dealings with the latter are usually covert to keep favour with the Coalition of Planets. Jupin is also uniquely positioned to allow the Solace trade cartel to have a stake in crystal mining operations on Vocaloid and Leonis.

Most of the population of Jupin is made up of zao business magnates and smugglers, though there is also a sizeable chunk of the population with allies itself with the Zao Separatists movement. Scavengers provide the bulk of the goods which come in and out of Jupin, with a focus on starship wrecks and abandoned facilities scattered throughout the war-torn system.

History

412

The Solace trade cartel is formed and begins construction on Jupin, in orbit around Huk and Va. The construction of the space station begins after the Solace trade cartel made an agreement with the Coalition of Planets to only do business with the alliance, and to bar all trade with megor raiding clans in the region.

The construction Jupin is complete, and the Solace trade cartel establishes itself within the Huk’Va solar system. The space station’s many capitalists begin trading with private organizations in the Coalition of Planets and Terran Republic, and its equally numerous smugglers covertly trade with space pirates and megor clans in the area.

442

The Nox’zh’r Apocalypse ravages the residents of Jupin.
