Skill Types

Immortal Freedom RPG > Abilities > Skills

Skills are categorized into four broad categories: combat, knowledge, physical, and social. Skills may be assigned additional types beyond these 4, such as dexterity or crafting. Skill types come into play when you are presented with the option to choose a skill as part of your quirk.

In addition to adding a die to your dice pool, crafting skills also grant you an item or cyberware appropriate for the crafting skills at the beginning of every session. The GM may also allow you to gain an appropriate item or cyberware during other periods of downtime, such as during travel or montages. Modifying an existing item or cyberware is considered to be crafting.
