Over-the-ear Translator
An over-the-ear translator is a technologically advanced device which allows the user to understand someone speaking in another indexed language. Once set up, the device does not require any input from its user. The device also automatically updates when connected to the NET. The translator works primarily via bone conduction, vibrating the user’s inner ear through the bones of their skull.
Over-the-ear translators are the most common form of translation among the civilized species of the star cluster.
