Rakanium is the rarest of the vibrating metals. It is used by the civilised species of the star cluster to line starship power cores, as it is an efficient dampener for the radiation emitted by crystals. It’s also used to bolster the quality of high-end weaponry and starships. Rakanium’s rarity makes it unlikely to be used in anything but the most high-end products.
