Originally an erelan research satellite, the PERL Satellite is the headquarters for the Psionic Education and Regulation League (PERL). Most of the inhabitants are recondite trainees under the tutelage of primarily erelan and aeyan recondites. The space station also acts as detention facility for magic users deemed too dangerous for public life.

Despite no longer being a research satellite, a significant amount of research takes place alongside the training of recondites.

The satellite keeps its orbit close to Deth Karan for recondite field training missions to the surface.

History

91

The Erelan Empire and the Ruling Houses of A’aena Edhil partner with the Terran Republic to form the Psionic Education and Regulation League—an organization dedicated to the training and regulation of magic users, specifically terran recondites, who had proven to be a problem for all the nations in the star cluster over the last century.

The Erelan Empire repurposes one of its research satellites around Truoth as the headquarters of the Psionic Education and Regulation League (PERL). Recondites from across the star cluster are encouraged to visit the PERL satellite for registration and training. At the same time, the Coalition of Planets begins offering bounties on rogue recondites and other unregistered magic users, to be brought to the PERL satellite for training and regulation.

Venta Duskseer is appointed as chancellor of the Psionic Education and Regulation League.

387

The Psionic Education and Regulation Leage (PERL) furiously trains combat-ready recondites from its pool of recondite students on the PERL satellite to support erelan recondites on the front lines in the Huk’Va solar system.

442

The Nox’zh’r Apocalypse ravages the residents of the PERL satellite.
