Surfaces
Surfaces are unbroken, solid stretches of matter on which other things may move across without destroying it. Surfaces can be horizontal, vertical, or in any direction. Examples of surfaces include:
- A living room’s carpeted flooring.
- The hull of a starship.
- A grassy hill.
- The belly of a massive animal.
- The glass ceiling of a penthouse apartment.
Whenever an ability affects a surface, the amount of surface affected is equal to the ability’s effective range.
