T’av

T’av are native to Azod, sharing the planet with a multitude of pre-industrial civilisations. However, only the T’avian Collective claims Azod and its moons as their territory in the interstellar arena. The T’av are nomads at heart, living in disconnected tribes which traverse the globe, moving with the seasons and following traditions passed down for millennia. The T’av do not venture too far into space, though they have a strong presence in orbit around their homeworld and its moons. They were one of the three major forces belonging to the Coalition of Planets, along with the Terran Republic and the Erelan Empire. They are motivated by preservation, striving to keep safe that which they deem important.

The T’av stand apart from other civilised species with their dromedary-like appearance and a peaceful, yet reserved demeanour. T’av are covered in a very fine layer of fur, varying in colour, including white, light brown, dark brown, and black, as well as a combination of these colours in various patterns. While bipedal and humanoid, they are undulates, with a long neck and a humped back, as well as large equine ears and flat snout-like noses. They also have a tail, which helps them keep their balance.
