Whenever you perform an action, roll at least 1d6 for Emotion/Logic or 1d8 for Magic/Tech. Apply any relevant abilities, items, or cyberware to modify the dice pool, change success parameters, or negate the need to roll.

Dice Scales

Roll at least 1d6 if you are performing an Emotion or Logic action.

• If you are using Emotion, you want to roll a number OVER your Emotion/Logic number.
• If you are using Logic, you want to roll a number UNDER your Emotion/Logic number.

Roll at least 1d8 if you are performing a Magic or Tech action.

• If you are using Magic, you want to roll a number OVER your Magic/Tech number.
• If you are using Tech, you want to roll a number UNDER your Magic/Tech number.

Any individual dice which match the parameters above are considered a single Success. The overall success of a roll is calculated based on how many Successes you have rolled.

If ever you roll one of your dice numbers exactly, you gain Intuition. You may also choose to succeed on the die instead of gaining Intuition.
