Spectre

Immortal Freedom RPG > Non-player Entities (NPCs) > Spirit Remnants

Spirit remnants are manifestations of essence left behind after an organic character or creature dies. Spirit remnants are created through the raw emotion of the once-living, or by an impressive display of magic. Spirit remnants are generally only visible to those with spirit magic, but can be made to manifest for all to see using certain kinds of magic.

Spectres are the spirit remnants of characters who died and which now haunt the living world. Spectres resemble their living counterparts in shape and dress, though they are made of pure essence. The edges of their form may be hazy and undefined. They are capable of communicating, if made manifest through spirit magic.
