Gas Canister
A Gas Canister is a pressure vessel for the storage and containment of gases above atmospheric pressure. The contents stored in a gas canister may be in a state of compressed gas, vapor over liquid, supercritical fluid, or dissolved in a substrate material, depending on the physical characteristics of the contents. A typical gas canister is a cylindrical container made of thin, malleable metal, with a connector valve at the top for connecting to filling or receiving apparatuses. Gas canisters come in many different sizes, depending on the receiving apparatus.[1]
Flamethrowers require gas canisters to function. A player character may choose to have their flamethrower run out of gas whenever they get Drawbacks, necessitating that a new gas canister be loaded into their weapon before they can use it again. Similarly, whenever the player character gets Complications, the game master (GM) may cause their flamethrower to run out of gas.
