Hoverchair
A Hoverchair is a mobilized form of chair using micro-thrusters to move a person around in a cushioned seat, with a footrest and armrests, which are usually also cushioned. Hoverchairs are used when walking is difficult or impossible due to a medical condition, providing mobility, postural support, and greater independence in the participation of everyday activities.
Hoverchairs come in a wide variety of formats to meet the specific needs of their users. They may include specialized seating adaptions, individualised controls, and may be specific to particular activities, such as sports or construction. Most hover chairs are self-propelled, meaning the user does not need an attendant to utilise their hoverchair.[1]
