Submachine Gun
A Submachine Gun (SMG) is a magazine-fed automatic carbine designed to fire the same ammunition as pistols. SMGs are primarily used by security forces, tactical units, paramilitary and bodyguards for close-quarters combat because they are easy to control, and less likely to over penetrate targets.[1]
Unless they are an energy submachine gun, SMGs shoot kinetic projectiles made of a variety of materials, such as copper, lead, steel, polymer, rubber, and even wax. Slug weapons require ammo in order to operate.[2]
