A Village is a settlement with a population of 100 to 1000 people. Villages normally grow out of smaller settlements as more people settle near each other for safety, resources, or companionship. Villages will often be supported by industry, trade, and a government of some kind. Services are limited to the bare essentials, including churches, general stores, and communications offices.^[1]
